Venue: University Hall KU Leuven, Belgium
Date: 18 – 20 January 2026
This three-day event celebrates 600 years of KU Leuven,
hosted by the Leuven Cancer Institute (LKI). The conference honors Andreas
Vesalius, the father of modern anatomy, who changed the way we understand
medicine by questioning traditional knowledge. Inspired by his approach, the
event focuses on four key themes: Seeing, Thinking, Treating, and Foreseeing
Cancer. It will cover advancements in tumor visualization, single-cell
research, new treatments, and predictive technologies. The conference brings
together experts from various fields to discuss cutting-edge science and cancer
care, all in the city where Vesalius made his groundbreaking contributions to
medicine.
